The Yeezus rapper apparently has wants a star-studded European bash, though reports claim Kim would prefer an intimate ceremony. This will be Kim's third time down the aisle, after her failed marriages to basketball player Kris Humphries and music producer Damon Thomas.
"She really wants to go the opposite of grand and showy. She said it would remind her too much of her last catastrophe walking down the aisle,” a source revealed to New magazine. "But Kanye has had staff survey castles and villas all over France, Spain and Italy.
France was his favourite but he's been shown a video of an estate, right on the water, off the coast of Italy."
Reports have also surfaced that the 36-year-old rapper wants to outdo Kim and Kris' $10 million wedding, even though the marriage ended 72 days after the pair tied the knot.
New has claimed that the lavish ceremony will take place next May after Kanye's tour is over and the weather is a "perfect balmy 75 degrees".
Kim excitedly told E! News that she'll be taking Kanye's last name once they're hitched.
It's also been reported that Kim has confirmed her stepfather Bruce Jenner will be walking her down the aisle.
But rumours have suggested that Kim's mom Kris wants her son Rob to have the honour, after Kris and Bruce's recent split following 22 years of marriage.
"Kris thinks it should be Rob now she and Bruce are separated and thinks it might be bad form to ask Bruce after the Kris Humphries wedding,” the source added.
"But Kim and the girls are backing Bruce, because they still see him as their father. Kris says Bruce may not even want the heat after the last circus."
