Nigerians and Nollywood were sent into shock on the night of December 31, 2012 as they learnt that promising Yoruba actress Bisi Veronica Komolafe had passed away on the last day of the year.
The plump actress, source gathered had been battling with an undisclosed illness and eventually passed away at the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
A year after, friends and fans still mourn Komolafe whom many said had a bright future as an actress. One of those who remembered Komolafe during the Christmas/New Year celebrations was Toyin Aimakhu.
‘Bisi komolafe continue to rest in peace darling…I miss u greatly..‘, Aimakhu wrote on Twitter.
Until her death, Komolafe, 27, was a 300 level student of Lagos State University where she was studying Business Administration. She is survived by her grandmother, father and siblings.
