Even by getting some new ink, Justin Bieber has still managed to cause a controversy
The “Baby” singer got a new tattoo on his lower right arm of elusive street artist Banksy’s famed “Balloon Girl.”
The 20-year-old showed off his new ink, done by tattoo artist Glen Hartless inside a recording studio Thursday night.
But even Banksy himself had thoughts on the issue, posting a photo of Justin’s tatt with simply the word “controversial” on what’s widely believed to be his personal Facebook page. And the comments are priceless!
In just hours after posting it, Banksy’s fans have logged almost 3,000 responses to Justin “homage” to the iconic work, nearly all of them negative but many hilarious:
“Banksy is known for putting beautiful pieces of art in sh*tty places! The best example!”
“The balloon is slowly floating away just like his musical career…”
“Amputate under copyright laws”
“Not sure if this is defined as the worst thing to ever happen to a Banksy or the best thing to ever happen to Bieber…”
“OMFG. I got this tattoo a month ago. Now I have to go buy a razor blade and cut it off me.”
