are five easy, efficient and budget-friendly remedies to keep your smile
looking its best all through fall!
Remedy No. 1
This home remedies involves everyday household products.
What you’ll need:
- Your favorite toothpaste
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide
- Half a teaspoon of water.
Mix these together and apply to your teeth with a standard
toothbrush. Brush as normal. Use this remedy once a week until you reach
your desired results. Once you have achieved sparkling teeth, try to
limit yourself to using this remedy just once a month.
Remedy No. 2
Are you a fan of bananas? You will be after you hear about this home
remedy! Applying a banana peel to achieve white teeth can be done by
gently rubbing the inside of the peel on your teeth for about two
minutes once or twice a day. Those awesome minerals that bananas are
already known for, such as potassium, manganese and magnesium, are
absorbed into your teeth and help keep them looking their best! The same
results have also been linked to the inner layer of orange peels.
Remedy No. 3
For another fruity take on whiter teeth, you can try mashing up a
strawberry and mixing it with a small amount of baking soda to create
your own whitening toothpaste. The acids in the strawberry work to
polish and whiten your teeth. Limit this remedy to about once a month.
Remedy No. 4
You likely have applied hydrogen peroxide to clean your small cuts or
wounds, but did you know it can also help the brightness of your smile?
Pouring a small amount on top of your normal toothpaste before
brushing, or on a cotton swab and gently rubbing it on your teeth for a
minute or two before brushing, can help brighten your smile within
weeks!
Remedy No. 5
Another effective and safe method to getting your teeth to look their
best is to apply olive oil. Use a clean cloth or cotton swab and apply
to your teeth for two to three minutes before your regular
teeth-brushing routine.
