Remedy No. 1

This home remedies involves everyday household products.

What you’ll need:

  • Your favorite toothpaste
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide
  • Half a teaspoon of water.
Mix these together and apply to your teeth with a standard toothbrush. Brush as normal. Use this remedy once a week until you reach your desired results. Once you have achieved sparkling teeth, try to limit yourself to using this remedy just once a month.

Remedy No. 2

Are you a fan of bananas? You will be after you hear about this home remedy! Applying a banana peel to achieve white teeth can be done by gently rubbing the inside of the peel on your teeth for about two minutes once or twice a day. Those awesome minerals that bananas are already known for, such as potassium, manganese and magnesium, are absorbed into your teeth and help keep them looking their best! The same results have also been linked to the inner layer of orange peels.

Remedy No. 3

For another fruity take on whiter teeth, you can try mashing up a strawberry and mixing it with a small amount of baking soda to create your own whitening toothpaste. The acids in the strawberry work to polish and whiten your teeth. Limit this remedy to about once a month.

Remedy No. 4

You likely have applied hydrogen peroxide to clean your small cuts or wounds, but did you know it can also help the brightness of your smile? Pouring a small amount on top of your normal toothpaste before brushing, or on a cotton swab and gently rubbing it on your teeth for a minute or two before brushing, can help brighten your smile within weeks!

Remedy No. 5

Another effective and safe method to getting your teeth to look their best is to apply olive oil. Use a clean cloth or cotton swab and apply to your teeth for two to three minutes before your regular teeth-brushing routine.
