A judge ordered the 'New Slaves' hitmaker to stay 10 yards away from Daniel Ramos, who has accused Kanye of criminal battery and attempted grand theft, in court in Los Angeles on Monday (07.10.13).
He also advised the paparazzo to also keep his distance from Kanye and not to provoke him, but Ramos is not willing to commit to the request, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Asked if he is planning to stay away from Kanye, Ramos said: ''No comment.''
The rapper is set to appear in court at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Thursday (10.10.13) to be arraigned, and could face up to one year in jail if convicted.
The judge presiding over the case has already rejected a request from prosecutors to order Kanye, who is being represented by respected defence attorney Blair Berk, to attend anger management classes.
Ramos is claiming that Kanye, 36, attacked him ''without warning or provocation'' and tried to steal his camera after the photographer asked him: ''Can we talk to you?'' while the rapper was walking through LAX in late August.
His civil lawsuit states that the attack caused him ''physical and nervous pain and suffering.''
