The official sponsors of the Nigeria Super Eagles, Guinness, has once again called on Nigerians to stand behind the team on their march to victory and as they engage the Walya Antelopes from Ethiopia.
In order to reaffirm its commitment to the success of the Super Eagles,  the brand of choice, Guinness recently announced a $2,000 reward for each goal scored by the National team against Ethiopia in this weekend’s 2014 FIFA World Cup playoff match.

Nigeria is ranked 36th in the world and 4th in Africa currently and with the Antelopes a distant 93rd in the FIFA rankings, the Eagles have a formidable side to play against.
However, Ethiopia is an emerging force in African football.
They qualified for the last Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa after a 31-year absence and finished top of their World Cup qualifying group ahead of Bafana Bafana, even after being docked three points for fielding an ineligible player.
The Super Eagles defeated the Flames of Malawi to progress to the next round of qualifying matches and thanks to the unflinching support from Guinness and the massive support of millions of Nigerians, we have progressed this far. “Once again, let us stand together and show solidarity with the team as they take on their next challenge. Go For Gold Eagles…We are Behind You.”
