The Keeping Up with the Kardashians stars revealed to E! News last night that they are now living separately but remain good friends.

They said: “We are living separately and we are much happier this way.

“But we will always have much love and respect for each other.

“Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner remain good friends. Copyright [AP] However, according to US Weekly, Kris, 57, and Bruce, 63, kept their split secret for an entire year,  deciding not to divorce because they don’t have a prenuptial agreement in place.

A source has now told TMZ that Bruce is a ‘simple man’ who would prefer to indulge in his sporting past times.

The former Olympian is said have found the constant media attention surrounding him and his family ‘extremely uncomfortable’.

A family source told the site: "[Kris'] on a freight train and Bruce finally wanted off."

She has previously brushed off reports that she and Bruce were splitting, saying: : "We just laugh it off. We love each other and just laugh about it...These kind of stories have been circulating for the last couple of years."
