Paul Walker: actor Fast and Furious was "very happy" before his tragic death

 
Paul Walker spent his last hours Saturday, November 30 to do what he loved helping others by attending a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide .

Bill Townsend, who was at the event and took a picture with the actor Saturday afternoon, spoke to E! News exclusively after the tragic car accident .

"He was very happy," Townsend said he actor's Fast and Furious that day. "He was at the event and was able to raise thousands of dollars and many had brought toys.""There were many people came to support the charity, and he was with his friends," Townsend he added. "He spent a great day. He was extremely delighted to have so much support."

Townsend explained that the organization of Walker was "everything" to him and he put "everything he could" in its charity. Walker also told Townsend his desire to help people in disaster situations, especially in the Philippines after devastating typhoon last month.

Townsend went to 15 h, and while returning home, he saw the horrible scene.

"I saw fire trucks and smoke and I had the horrible feeling that something terrible had happened," Townsend he said. "But I never thought it was Paul."

Townsend described the scene of the accident as an "industrial" route.

"The road was particularly bumpy," Townsend he said. "She was wide."

Townsend remembers his friend as a man who "loved his family and loved cars."

"It was a fantastic man," Townsend he said.

Walker worked with Always Evolving Performance Motors, and Reach Out Worldwide event was held at their premises.

Newton Wimer, an engineer from the car company, expressed his condolences on the death of Walker and the driver of the vehicle, Roger Rodas . Rodas was also the CEO of Always Evolving.

"It was two men who loved fun and was very concerned about the other," Wimer has he told E! News exclusively shortly after the accident. "They left behind many people they loved and their support by giving them their time and by all means at their disposal."

Wimer said the two men went and "did not return."

"Two very generous men were taken away today," said Wimer. "They died on the spot."


Sheriff Los Angeles County confirmed Saturday night that "speed was a factor" in the fatal collision.

A source close to the family of Walker source told E! News that her family are "devastated" and "shocked".

"This is a day full of heartbreaking," the source said. "We do not know what happened, the police investigation and we will find out."

The source said that someone had tried to break the two men of the vehicle without success.
E"Roger and Paul were close friends," the source she said. "It was two men who loved their families more than anything. They came first. They had the same vision, which is why they got along so well."

"It was two real friends who shared the same goals and interests," added the same source.

Walker has been described as an "amazing father" to his daughter, Meadow Walker , and he "loved his mother more than anything in the world."

"The family came first for him," the source she said. "It was an incredibly good man. He gave a lot to charity. It was not like every other guy in Hollywood."

Always Evolving an employee had to announce the sad news to her mother, the source she said.

"Paul loved his mother, he was extremely close to her," the source she said.
