Tiwa Savage's Hubby Denies Smashing Photo Journalist Camera on The Ground

Tiwa Savage’s husband Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun has debunked claims that he attacked a photo-journalist, Victor Obot, at Sound Sultan’s birthday party on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Façade Thai Restaurant, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to the paparazzi, Balogun had told him not to take his picture at the party, but he said he meant to capture 2face and another guest who were standing with Teebillz. But because he thought the photographer was trying to take his shot, he went after him, tore his shirt and smashed his camera on the floor – leaving the cam damaged. see pic of the damaged camera

Billz, who had denied the allegation in other media reports, didn’t have much to say when HHW magazine contacted him on the phone; he only referred us to those who were with him that night. ‘Call 2face and Sound Sultan, they are the eyewitnesses,’ he said.

However, in a separate account of what happened that night, ‘You Is The One’singer Azadus told HHW that the photographer was at fault, noting he could have respected Balogun’s privacy when he asked not to be photographed.

‘He dint attack him oooooooooo…Ppl should respect other pple’s privacy. He went straight to the guy as soon as he set his eyes on him, wiv no one’s notice, pls do not snap any shot of me. It was actually the photographer’s fault….,’ Azadus told us in a BBM chat.

Azadus, who’s gradually making a come-back to the music scene, said he had no idea how Mr. Obot’s camera was damaged.

‘I really don’t know how d camera got smashed but am sure he got the phone from him and smashed on the floor,’ he added.

This is coming barely one week after Tunji and Tiwa Savage tied the knots in a loud ceremony in Lagos.
