Mariah Carey has become about as synonymous with Xmas as Santa Claus in recent years so it should come as no surprise whatsoever that she was asked — AGAIN (and again) — to perform a short set of holiday songs in Rockefeller Center in NYC, NY as part of NBC‘s annual Christmas in Rockefeller Centertelevision special. Mimi taped her performance (complete with costume change) in Manhattan last night ahead of tonight’s big tree lighting ceremony (which will all be aired on NBC). Now that Mariah has started her traditional annual holiday push, it really IS beginning to look a lot like Xmas.
