Chris McMillan is one of the most sought-after hairstylists in the business and the man who re-invented Miley Cyrus, 20, from a darling Disney star into the pixie cut rocking, sexy siren she is today. Jennifer Aniston, 44, is reportedly upset that Miley is garnering so much attention from the hairstylist she has relied on for years — could that be why she opted for a dramatic bob in November?
“Miley has radically remade her look with the help of handpicked hairdresser Chris, but the successful creative collaboration between the pair is headed for splitsville because of Jen,” a source spilled to Radar.
They continued: “Jen has gotten very impatient with Chris’ constant attention to Miley — as well as the fact that Miley’s hair is getting so many headlines.” Well who can blame Chris. The report says Jen wants Miley to back off!
“Jen wants Chris to lay off Miley for a while,” the source tattled to Radar. “It’s become an ultimatum. She has been dissatisfied with the situation for a long time, and things seem to have reached a breaking point.”
Jen has already started to make a change, as she debuted a choppy bob in November.
“[Jen] does want Chris to refocus on her image in the coming year, as she has three movies in the pipeline with big potential inhairstylis
Jen has Chris to thank for the “Rachel” haircut, which made her a household name when she starred on the show Friends in the 1990s. It makes sense why she would be possessive — he’s been cutting her hair for 20 years!
Jen and Chris are also business partners with the brand Living Proof. Jen is co-owner while Chris is a celebrity hairstylist for the brand.
